Intro to Cycle Tracking & Body Literacy
for Chinese Medicine Students & Practitioners
Virtual Workshop | November 15, 7-8:30pm
The Fertility Awareness Method is a form of menstrual cycle tracking used to understand one’s body and health, to prevent pregnancy, and to support conception. By learning how to observe and record one’s key fertility biomarkers on a daily basis, one can determine whether one is fertile or not that day, and get a picture of one’s overall hormonal health. Practicing the Fertility Awareness Method of menstrual cycle tracking allows one to understand the “four inner seasons” of the menstrual cycle, and live a cyclically attuned life — much like how Chinese Medicine classics describe attaining health and cultivating jing as a practice of living according to the seasons. Cycle tracking promotes the natural health of the individual, empowers us to be active agents of our own healthcare, and thus helps us live according to our Dao. It is a natural ally and helpful tool for Chinese Medicine patients and practitioners.
This is a free virtual workshop for students and practitioners of Chinese Medicine, and is an inclusive space for people of all gender identities. To register and receive the Zoom link, please fill out the form below.
